Search your active local ingredient library first. When no local match exists, CalcSaver searches the verified Master Library. Only a reviewed local ingredient can be placed into the recipe work area.

Active local records can be used immediately. Verified master matches remain read-only until CalcSaver creates a user-owned review copy. USDA matches must first become both a controlled master candidate and a user-owned local draft. Local drafts remain unavailable to recipes until finalized in the Ingredient Library.
